1. Newest Logi+ Options Update Broken 05/2024

   So ever since the new AI update logitech options wont discovery my mx keys mini, mx keys, 650 L or my 720 Triatholon. I have plugged in both a bolt and unified receiver. I have used only bluetooth. I have done the pairing process countless times and it still doesn't show that they are discovered. This is lame because it means I cant configure the settings, customize the buttons, change mouse speed or scroll smoothing. What happened? You guys are supposed to be the best of the best but your apps and products aren't living up to the reputation. And man, don't get me started on the iPad app.............. Terrible. I hope you guys can figure it out. As you can see I am a loyal customer but everyone has a "alright that's enough! It's time to find something else" point. Take care and thanks for reading.

2. Idée pour plusieurs MX Key et une MX Master 3

   Bonjour Logitech,
   J'adore ma souris MX 3 et mon clavier MX Keys à tel point que j'en ai acheté 1 pour mon lieu de travail et un pour la maison. Je connecte les 2 claviers aux mêmes ordinateurs et il est difficile de savoir quel MX Key il faut choisir pour la commande qui fait que le clavier suit la souris. Je pense que si l'on pouvait renommer les claviers, ce serait bien. Peut-être est-il possible que le programme détecte également automatiquement quel est le clavier connecté directement plutôt que je doive le changer? Merci pour vos efforts. Continuez comme ça. 3. Remove intrusive and undeletable "ai_overlay_tmp" folder from home directory.

   The Logi options application has, since a recent update, been creating an unwanted folder called "aioverlaytmp" directly in the home directly of the user on Mac OS.

   Furthermore, the folder is automatically recreated upon deletion -- it cannot be permanently deleted as long as the Logi+ options application is installed.

   There is no option provided to disable this, or set a preferred directory.

   This is unwanted, abnormal, and intrusive behavior, and does not meet norms for Desktop application behavior.

4. Allow side buttons to select paired device

   I am amazed that with all the actions included and three buttons on a mouse that allows to connect to three devices that there is no option inside logi options that can let you select device 1, 2 and 3 with the side buttons. Why isn't an option?

   Dozens of options for gestures, AI and scripts.. but not allow to select device per button?

   Additionally, why does selecting the device on the keyboard not automatically change it in the mouse as well? I am dumbfounded by the extensive options included in logi options that did not include such basic features.

   It seems to be the most obvious features to include. I am using an MK850 keyboard/mouse combo.

5. Updates reset settings - each time

   Good evening,
   Recent updates have reset (each time) my settings. It would be very nice, given the premium paid for the Logitech products, to not have to make the same settings each time an update is installed - especially if nothing new is provided for older products.
   Please refrain from any reply that mentions "saving the setting via an account". If this is the "solution" to use the devices on a single computer, I would rather throw them in the garbage and just go for some cheap ****.
   I will temporarily suspend the updates to keep the needed functionality in place. And to avoid dubious "AI" things as Logitech has failed to avoid this marketing red herring.

6. Switch MX 3 et Clavier MX

7. Local Backup!

   It is incredibly frustrating that this software does not include an option to backup settings via a local export. I cannot count the number of times that the software has mysteriously reset to default settings and I have to pray that the cloud backup hasn't failed as well. I am currently facing the situation where both have failed. Nearly 75% of my settings are lost.

   How in the world is a local export not an option for software that is built on the foundation of customization and flexibility? Instead of rectifying this longstanding issue, you have decided to jump headfirst into the AI bandwagon. Please prioritize your loyal customers, not the hype train.

   1、鼠标 M720 很好用，它的大小、重量正好，特别是滚轮支持左右自定义（像大师系列的电磁滚轮不支持滚轮左右），方便在 MacOS 中切换桌面，但是许久没更新了，建议参考大师系列更新一下设计、材质等。
   2、Logi Options+ 软件，它的体积也太大了（1.7GB），如果不小心点击了 Logi Smart Actions、AI、语音之后，体积更少达到了 5.8GB。

9. Stop wiping my settings

   Then number of times a person has to set up my mouse/keyboard should be once. It should not be every time logitech pushes out an app update. I literally just did this the other day, and now I have to do it again. I do not care about ai nonsense or custom workflows that don't work. I just want my peripherals to work as intended. You guys are a computer peripherals company... this is embarrassing. Oh also... why does the feedback form in the app show misspelled words... but then doesn't give you a list of recommendations when you right click (like every thing else in 2025)? If you don't fix core functionality no one is going to bother paying the logitech tax for a fancy mouse that doesn't work.

11. ai_overlay_tmpホルダの自動作成について

    mac os14.4.1使用。logioprion+ verアップしてしまったらユーザーホルダに＜aioverlaytmp>ホルダーが勝手に作成される。time machineで旧verに戻したつもりだが最新verになってしまう。自分の製品は対応しない機能なので、ホルダが勝手にユーザーホルダに作成させるのは迷惑。作成しない方法を早急に対応してください。もしくは旧ｖｅｒをインストール方法を教示下さい。

    为键盘和鼠标设置了全局自定义的快捷键，针对我常用的软件，为鼠标设置了自定义快捷键，然后你们的 这个应用程序出问题了，我卸载了并重新安装，重新登录罗技账号之后，之前的配置都没了！ 需要重新设置一遍？？？？

13. Icon Improvements

    Hi! I love the addition of the Action Ring, especially for my MX mouse.
    A few ideas regarding the icons, possibly.
    We are given default icons when the "ring" is first created; they are fantastic and look great. Here is where my issue lies.
    The AI branch, for starters. The default actions direct me to a webpage for the respective AI model (except for ChatGPT); however, I have Perplexity downloaded as an application on my computer and prefer not to use my browser instead of the app. With the Action Ring, I can add an action that opens Perplexity's application; however, I am unable to retrieve the original icon (that inverts color when hovered over and looks way cooler than a normal PNG) for Perplexity. This is also true for many other tools, such as ChatGPT and Copilot. I would like there to be some way to find and use those app-specific icons again.
    Furthermore, there is an icon pack for Spotify that features many Spotify-styled icons for shuffle, skip, etc., but not for the Spotify logo itself. So when I go to create a folder for Spotify-related actions, the Spotify icon looks dumb and the others look sweet.
    These ideas are definitely not vital and are probably overlooked by mostly everyone, but when there are icon packs that all look awesome and I have to make the decision of putting a shortcut because it'd be handy or not because it doesn't match any of the others, it is like a mini-battle between the opposing sides of my brain.
    And finally, is it possible to get Web-Based apps onto the Action Ring? Apps like Netflix, Paramount+, and others are web-based and downloaded through the Microsoft Store, but I cannot seem to find out how to add them to the Action Ring (unless of course doing it through a web browser). Of course, I am not knowledgeable about how this all works, but it would be cool if those could be added as well.

14. Suppression des profiles à chaque redémarrage

    PUTAIN .. J'y crois pas quoi ...
    Je viens de récupérer par chance les profiles de ma souris, qui avaient disparu comme ça avec mes sauvegardes cloud, car heureusement j'ai le même utilitaire configuré pareil sur un autre ordinateur et que j'ai pu récupérer sa sauvegarde cloud à lui. Je redémarre le PC, et QUOI ? De nouveau mes profiles ont disparu ?!?!?

    Pourquoi il n'y a maintenant QU'UNE SEUL sauvegarde cloud par appareil ????
    Vous savez ce que fait mon utilitaire lorsqu'il se lance sans mes profiles au lancement de mon ordi ? Il fait une sauvegarde et écrase la dernière. Utilité des sauvegarde cloud en ne ayant qu'une seul sauvegarde qu'on écrase ? Nul.

    C'est bon là... Je vais perdre du temps à chercher dans App Data le fichier contenant les profiles, j'en ai mare de perdre du temps sur votre utilitaire mal codé. C'est bien joli d'avoir des super souris avec pleins de fonctionnalités logiciel, mais la base de ce logiciel est merdique ...
    Sur le logiciel de Stream Deck on peut faire des export de profile par exemple pour prévenir ce genre de cas.

15. 2x M575s stopped working

    I have used Logitech trackball mice since they were first marketed.
    I have introduced tens of others to use these products.
    Originally wired, then bluetooth, through M570, M575.
    The original logitech software worked fine. Every "upgrade" over last 10+ years has been a retrograde step. Now Logitech have bundled - AI software that requires opt-out! What on earth?!
    I have also suffered sudden failure of the proprietary dongles.
    Latest issue is failure of M575s to reconnect to PC after reboot.
    Two devices, Two failures this last week!
    PLEASE can we have simple original pairing software and working connections!
    Yes, I have replaced batteries on both.
    If only others would step in and produce reliable trackballs with basic software...

    これを機能として実装すれば、多くの人にメリットがあると思います。特に生成AIと組み合わせる場合、ボタン一発で作業を完結したい人は沢山いると思われます。そのためには、ボタンの数は限られているので、ジェスチャー機能への割り当てが必要になると考えております。

17. Stop update on metered connection, stop update in app

    Hi,
    I am on a limited connection. I can do what I need wit AI and surfing websites but no streaming etc. At the start of my workday I notice that my connection is almost blocked so I go to the task manager to see whats going on. Logitech Options updater is consuming all my bandwith. So, after a moment I try to kill but it just restarts. I then remember that I should turn on metered connection. Then it should stop updating. No change. I open logitech options and is meat by welcome to your new and updatad bla, bla. I think, nice it is just done. But no! At the same time as I turn off Automatically install updates it starts a new update. While I am desperately trying to google it just sits there at 1 % and I am getting more and more frustrated. When I kill it i can get enough seconds with ok bandwith to get a reply from googles AI that suggests that I turn off the service. Great! I should have thought about that already. So finally I get it stopped. Is it really supposed to be this hard? I am by no means a computer wiz myself but know enough to get by. If I think about my wifes and mothers computer skills, turning on metered connection should be good enough. Finding the process in the task manager is already extra. But opening services and turning off your service is rediculus. And the fact that one cannot pause your update even in settings is borderline criminal! I like your products. Your MX keys is wonderful to type on but I expect better than this!

    Sorry for the angry tone. I sincerely hope that this somewhat upset message will not set the tone for your day. I will try to calm down and go about my day in a better spirit.

    Bonjour, je viens d'installer Logi Options +. J'ai un bug entre mon PC et mon Mac avec le Flow. Ma souris suit bien mais le clavier ne bascule pas automatiquement...
    Est-ce que le problème est connu ? est-ce un paramètre particulier ?

19. 鍵盤快捷鍵功能完全無法使用，越更新越爛，基本的功能不能使用，反而加一堆AI功能，先顧好基本使用者體驗吧

20. Updates that don't break the software...

    I have a cool idea for Logi Options! When I get updates for this application, it would be really nice if the updates didn't break the program to where I either have to restart my mac, or reinstall the program. It's so nice to have all this programmable stuff, it's REALLY nice when it functions as advertised! When the updates break things, my mouse and keyboard do not work the way I want them to. It would be neat if the updates were for improving the software instead of shoehorning bloated extras, and ignoring bugs. This AI stuff is great and all, but I think Logitech forgot they used to make keyboards and mice, and functioning software for those keyboards and mice; they are dropping the ball on what they are supposed to be good at.
    I know it's a crazy notion to have software that just works these days, but the bar is low, and I'm sure you folks can rally! I believe in you!
