3.5 years later and still nothing from logitech. 6 seconds is far too short of a time, it is almost infuriating. My hands can't leave the keyboard for a few seconds before it goes dark. Having to wait for the backlight to turn back on disrupts my productivity enough that it adds up after months of daily 10 hour workdays. it is kind of funny because who thought 6 seconds was a good choice for the user? I would understand it better if the time out was 30 or even 20 seconds.
