1. AI Prompt Builder is a BAD idea and reduces trust in LogiTECH

   Logitech AI prompt builder running in background is a terrible THING. It takes up precious memory and I do not use it for anything.

   Please provide option for not lauching it at startup, or opting in to use it, rather then load it on startup by default.

2. Ps5 support on mx master 3 and mx keys mini

   Hello, i have bought mx master 3 and mx keys for my work. Lately i got a ps5 and I realised that the unifying receiver doesnt work on ps5 neither the bluetooth pairing mode. In my opinion mx keys and mx master 3 is the best setup for work and i wouldnt change them for anything, but i would like to use them for gaming as well. Is there a plan in the future to support consoles like ps5? or a setting that i can actually change and pair them with ps5?!?! (for example my headset has a setting if you want to connect it with play station or pc)

3. I don't want any AI

   I'm sorry but I do NOT want any AI in my basic mouse software. I don't understand why anyone would even think about adding this ******** feature instead of focusing on reliability, performance & security of this esential piece of software that complements a lot of logitechs products. I repeat, I do NOT want this and I wish it were removed.

4. Logi Sucks

   customer service sucks - took weeks to response, and then no more response

   software sucks - running useless things in the background without giving you choice to disable it, i only need to use my mouse with button setting of my choice, no need your stupid ai promt and else

   hardware sucks - out of order at exactly the 13mths

   don't think i will buy anything else from logi and i will share this with my friends

   The mouse should remember its last settings from any machine.

7. Mute/Unmute mic in NEW Microsoft Teams

   Microsoft Teams has released a NEW version. Although my MX Master 3S has support for this new version of Teams, it strangely does not have support to map a button to mute/unmute my mic. This was very useful to me when I was using the old version of Teams, and it would be great if this can be implemented into the new version of Teams as well. Thanks!

9. Mic mute/unmute notification

   The Mic mute/unmute notification function should not be activated by default.
   Many users, me included, searched for many time for how to disable this option. Its really annoying and not usefull for most of the people.

10. switch-device button placement is not good

    The switch-device button on the bottom is not very usable. Since I have to lift my mouse every time I want to switch device, it's not user-friendly.
    As a workaround, I want to be able to swap the function of this button with some other (for example the top button that changes the shift-wheel mode)
    Plz plz plz give us this feature in next update.

11. AI feature creep

    You just looooove feature creep 😤

    I installed an app to activate the buttons of my mouse, and update my keyboard. You turn it into a 🤬 chat gpt wannabe.

    I like your hardware, but your stupid apps are a HUGE minus every time I consider a new Logitech device.

    You urgently need a development process where someone's job is to ask "do we actually need an AI editor on a device utility software."

14. Options+ Bugs and M720 Triathlon Limitations

    Dear Logitech Support,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you about some issues I have been experiencing with my Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse and the Options+ software.

    Background
    I use this mouse extensively. I have one for each of my computers and I have been recommending it to coworkers, family, and friends, and personally give a few as gifts to some of them due to its ergonomic design and customizable buttons.
    I work as a programmer, and the shortcuts I use most throughout the day are copy, paste, CTRL+A, and ALT+SHIFT+F. This product has probably saved me from having arthritis in my left hand for the past few years...
    I would say that i am a "power user". i use daily 3 Windows 11 Computers, all set up almost identical, all have an M720 mouse and a Logitech keyboard, all have 3-4 Screens,

    However, I have encountered multiple issues that are impacting my work and my experience with your product. I have noticed that some of the people to whom I recommended this mouse are also encountering these issues. We all use Windows in Hebrew, but not all of us are programmers.

    Issues

    1. Logitech Options+ Crashing: It works flawlessly around 97% of the time, but sometimes it just stops working in the middle of the day. Lately, this has been happening around three or four times a week. Thankfully, fixing it is fairly easy - I just open the Logitech Options+ software and everything goes back to normal. However, it is an annoying issue that disrupts my workflow.

    2. Logitech Options+ Resets: Every 2-3 months, the Logitech Options+ software loses all of the settings. Each time this happens, I have to go and reset the keys.

    3. Automatic Backup Issue: Yesterday, it happened again and I restored the settings using the automatic backup feature but it didn't change anything. Then I noticed that the last automatic backup happened a few minutes before, so it actually backed up the empty settings right when I opened the software.

    4. Unusable Button Remapping: The M720 Triathlon features a button dedicated to the "Flow" feature, which I find unnecessary for my workflow. This button placement is particularly frustrating because it's a prime location for customization. I have encountered many frustrated users online that would greatly benefit from the ability to remap this button. It would significantly improve productivity and will make a lot of your customers happy, especially because you don't "owe" us anything as you advertise it clearly.

    5. Chrome Freezing: The most annoying issue might not be directly related to your products. It might be due to 3rd parties like Windows or Chrome. I use usually have around 40 to 60 Chrome tabs open spread around in 12 Chrome profiles, amongst other things. Occasionally, I have 5-10 Google Sheets documents open. Some of them have a lot of data or a packed with automations and CPU Consuming functions. from time to time, when I'm working with a Google Sheets file, Chrome freezes and I have to restart it. My colleagues, who are doing somewhat similar jobs but don't use your devices or software, don't encounter this issue.

    Suggestions
    I would suggest adding a secondary option to backup to a local file. This would not only provide a backup for the cloud backup but would also help me move the settings between computers as they are the same on all my computers. Another suggestion is to add a place in the software or on the website to download backup history. There also needs to be a button to restore a backup from a file.

    In conclusion, I want to thank you for the products you have created. They save me a lot of time and are very much appreciated. However, I don't think I should suffer while using your products.

15. Reduce the RAM usage of Logi Options

    Bloatware:
    Logi Options is bloatware using 375.5MB of RAM.

    You've recently updated the app for Logi Options to include a bunch of AI stuff. In the process, or possibly prior, it seems you have met the definition of bloatware quite thoroughly. Bloatware is software that uses up resources without doing anything useful.

    No one is using their mouse driver software for AI....

    The Logi Options app is in fact the second largest RAM hog on my machine - using 179.2 MB as I write this. There is additionally another program WebView2 Manager which when expanded shares the logo of the Logi Options App. It uses additionally 68.7 MB. This is number 8 on the list. There is also Logi Options Agent using 61.9 MB; Logi AI Promt Builder using 35.4 MB; Logi Options Updater 11.2 MB; and Logi Options App Broker at 1.1 MB

    The total of this is 357.5 MB. When I consider this it actually becomes the LARGEST RAM HOG on my machine.

    Purpose of LogOptions App:
    Let's think about the purpose of the Logi Options app for a moment. It's purpose to to change a few settings for my my mouse. So realistically its a glorified mouse driver. There is no need for it to use 375.5MB of RAM. It uses 461 MB of space on my Hard drive. This is large - but I think this is more reasonable since it's hard drive space and less of an immediate drag on the performance of my machine.

    Context of why this is excessive:
    There are ENTIRE MODERN OPERATING SYSTEMS that run using 21MB of storage space and only need 46 MB of RAM to run (Tiny Core Linux Distro). And in the past Dam Small Linux was about 50MB requiring no more than 8MB of RAM. If an operating system can use 8MB of RAM then so can a glorified mouse driver.... like really why is LogiOptions the Largest hog on my machines memory!

    **** your AI BS. It's running too many processes in the background without my permission. There is absolutely zero reason to put ChatGPT on this app that is supposed to just be for changing mouse and keyboard options. Get rid of it.
