2. MacOS Bluetooth Battery % error

   on MacOS 13.3.1 - with latest software 1.38.395556
   If you click in the screen menu bar to see all bluetooth devices the MX Keys Mac and MX Master 3 devices ALWAYS shows 100% battery - even when the battery dies. see attached screenshot - can this please be fixed.

   Can this be fixed as currently I only know when the device dies that it needs power - which means I have to stop working and find the cables

3. MX Master 3S "show desktop" and "switch application" gestures not functioning properly

   I've got an MX Master S3 mouse with the gesture button. When using the "show/hide desktop" gesture, it actually starts a windows search from the task bar (like clicking in the search bar to start typing, which also brings up that menu). The first few times I used the gesture it worked, but I changed it to something else and back, and now the gesture won't work no matter how I configure it: with the preset gestures or setting it to a custom direction manually.

   Additionally, the "switch application" gesture could use some improvement. When using the "app navigation" presets, the right gesture swaps right (like alt+tab) and the left gesture swaps left (like alt+shift+tab), as it should be. But when I use a custom set of gestures and map "switch application" in the same configuration, both left and right gestures switch apps to the right (both do alt+tab). I tried overcoming this by using keyboard shortcut gestures instead, but this didn't at all work as expected. All I really want is the "app navigation" preset configuration, but instead of "switch application" also mapped to the gesture button, I want to make that "task view" like it is in the "virtual desktop" preset.

6. Include to logitech option+ all features from logitech option!

   This new logitech option+ is terrible and not user friendly.

   When I want to add specific options for certains programs (which the app does not automatically find) it has at least two severe issues:
   a) it does not autodetect games/programs which are currently running (which classic logitech option could do) which means I have to manually find the program file (which may be sometimes pretty hard when playing games on steam);
   b) when I finally find it and "incorporate" it in logitech option, there is no icon. It does not take the icon from the exe file and it is blank. So, I have several specific options for several programs/games while I do not see which game it is (unless I move my cursor on the option where it shows the name - and also it uses the name of exe file which can be two letters and then it is still hard to identify which application it is).

   Also, why should I add twice application if I want specific options? Once for button and once for point&scroll options? I had to do it manually twice.

   It iseems the only viable option is to return the new Logitech mouse MX 3s (which will likely happen in extended 60-day return period) and go to previous mouse where I can use former logitech option. Just because of this option+.

8. Bug & Idea

   Dear guy/girl at the other end of this madness,

   First of all, thank you for this product, it's awesome! Both mouse and the UI with all the features. (except the emoji menu as a bind-able option :'( joke)

   In my opinion the only think missing (actually there is another, the LED should indicate the battery, but if I'm right that's not a multicolor led and indication based on the number of LED flashing is a bad solution)
   is the option to bind the "change between devices" button. It was a pretty sad realisation.

   Similar situations I'm always wrong and the product already containing the thing that I'm after for and I'm just careless.

   So please, tell me I'm just dumb and let me know where can I find that option :D

   I'm just finishing with this letter and noticed this:
   My battery level dropped to low, but looked like the battery level indicator (in the new beta UI) was not able to decide what could be the right state to show.
   For a brief moment it rapidly changed between orange and green.

   I'm not sure about the text message changed too or not, it was shorter than a sec. (In my opinion it could not be caused by the condition of the mouse, only a few days "old")

9. Additional Toggle button for "Keep Showing mute/unmute" Notifications

   Hi Logi options team! To start with - this is a good app. I have few requests and am raising different requests for better ticketing at your end.

   1. I am using Casa Keys (And I guess its the same issue with Mx Keys) - The "Mic Off" red button does not vanish. It just keeps showing in the Left top corner.

   2. If I toggle off the "Mic mute/unmute notification", then it does not show up at all when muted.

   Request:
   What I would like is an additional setting so that Mic on/Off button flashes and goes away like caps/num/Fn lock. [PFA image]

   Proposal (PFA image):
   I suggest adding a toggle button "ToggleButton4" to NOTIFICATIONS menu, where:
   * ToggleButton4: Keep displaying Mic mute/unmute notification

   Existing Toggle buttons would remain the same:
   * ToggleButton1: Low battery notification
   * ToggleButton2: Caps lock, Num lock, Scroll lock, Fn lock notifications
   * ToggleButton3: Mic mute/unmute notification

   For ToggleButton4, states would be:

   Default:
   1) ON if ToggleButton3 "is ON"
   2) OFF and Disabled (greyed out) if ToggleButton3 is "turned OFF"

10. make it easier to set up more useful shortcuts

    I really hate that the inclusion of AI is being hyped up over more important features. The options available are really limiting and nonsensical and it is disappointing there aren't options that better reflect the applications supported in the logi+ menu - I would kill for a 'save as' or a 'select all' or an 'open in new tab' option for Chrome, as an example. Why would I need a button to maximize and minimize windows? How often do people do that? I guess if you are hiding windows but that isn't me I guess.

    And yeah, I recognize I can set up a custom prompt but I can do that on my stream deck easier with more options. The goal should be getting a habit started of using the extra buttons and if it isn't useful I am never going to remember it. And it should be easy to set up considering the average consumer which is also not happening. Flow also seems to have gotten clunkier to use which is frustrating.

    I guess that is me grumbling. In more useful UX requests - I don't understand what click and tilt means? I think that is what it is listed as. Having a practice space would be helpful because IDGI and it seems like it could be helpful especially the right click and tilt... if 'save as' were an option...

11. Issues/suggestions

    Hey Logi! Happy New Year!

    I have some issues/suggestions with the beta:

    1 - My K380 is showing up as rose but it's actually gray, the old Options shows it correctly.
    2 - Would be nice to have battery percentage for the K380, and for it to show up in macOS' bluetooth menu (as does the MX Anywhere 3).
    3 - The "Look Up" function is missing as an option for MX Anywhere 3 buttons customization. I like to use it in Safari on the Scroll Wheel click.
    4 - I assigned the mode shift button as gestures for Mac (mission control, show desktop, exposé , navigate left and right) but they sometimes fail to active, specially the left/right navigation.
    5 - Flow is not working correctly on my setup. My new MacBook (Options+, M1 Pro, Monterey) can't see my old one (Options, Intel, Mojave) and vice-versa, but oddly enough I can transition from the old to new, but not from new to old.
    6 - It would be really nice if there was an option to swap the Ctrl and Fn keys for the K380 - and any other keyboard on your line that doesn't follow Mac layout. Muscle memory is a thing and I'm always hitting the wrong key when transitioning between my MacBook's keyboard and the K380. (or release the MX Keys Mini for Mac in gray).

13. Logi Options+ sucks

    I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE OPTION+ IS EVEN A THING. IT DOESN'T HAVE A NOTIFICATION TRAY ICON. IT IS ACCESSIBLE VIA LOGI TUNE, WHICH THEN OPENS UP LOGI OPTIONS+. ALSO, WHY ARE SHORTCUTS DISABLED WHEN THERE IS AN UPDATE? I HAD NO CLUE THAT THERE WAS AN UPDATE UNTIL AFTER FIDDLING AROUND FOR 10 MINUTES WITH MY ALREADY SET SHORTCUTS, FRUSTRATED THAT THE SETTINGS ARE CORRECT, BUT NOT WORKING, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THERE WAS AN UPDATE AVAILABLE THAT DISABLED ALL SHORTCUTS UNTIL AFTER INSTALLING THE UPDATE. THIS WAS A TOTAL PRODUCTION KILLER. I WOULDN'T HAVE FOUND OUT UNTIL I OPENED UP THE CONFIG MENU TO CONTACT SUPPORT. ALSO, WHY COULDN'T THE MX MASTER MICE BE INTEGRATED INTO THE G HUB? THE INTERFACES ARE NEARLY IDENTICAL. THIS, TO ME, DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING A "HUB" WHEN YOU HAVE MULTIPLE SOFTWARES REQUIRED TO USE YOUR DEVICES.

    ALSO, WHEN I WAS SEARCHING THE SUPPORT PAGE, THE SEARCH BOX HITS WERE BEHIND THE STUPID CONTACT ICONS, SO I COULDN'T EVEN SEE WHAT THE SEARCH HITS WERE. I WAS USING EDGE BROWSER, NOT THAT IT REALLY MATTERS TO YOU GUYS. TERRIBLE PROGRAMMING ALL AROUND, LOGITECH.

    THE SETPOINT SOFTWARE I USED WAS BETTER THAN THIS OPTIONS+ GARBAGE. THE G HUB SEEMS TO WORK FANTASTIC. I HAVE LESS ISSUES THUS FAR THAN THIS OPTIONS+ I'VED USED FOR A COUPLE DAYS WITH SO MANY PROBLEMS AND BUGS.

14. Application Process Feedback / Flow Feedback

    I would like to see the application remain open when minimizing or 'closing' via the 'x' button. For some reason, when closed it actually ends the process. Please add this as an option within the settings menu. Also, I have noticed that the new version of flow is not as stable or reactive as the version that is in the other "Options" software. It appears to almost never work. With the old options software it would work at least 80% of the time. Now its closer to 10%. Very frustrating.

18. Battery percentage idea/request

    I used the FEEDBACK tab to submit an idea a few days ago, but received an email from Logitech Support implying that they could not help me with my issue. Very confusing and I still am not sure whether or not that feedback was successfully received and is being considered. So I will just summarize what I wrote...

    I've had an MX Keys for almost 1 year. I love the premium look and especially feel of the keyboard, but have always found it upsetting that there is no real-time battery percentage status available anywhere. The old Options software shows a battery icon, but it is not too different from the new (Beta) Options+ which also shows an icon with the added feature of giving you a message saying battery is full or good or low when you hover the mouse over it.

    I would very much appreciate a real time battery percentage status display - something that will tell me the keyboard (and mouse) is at 47%, 83%, 6%. Having such a thing in the Options+ app would be truly great and MUCH needed, but it would be an added bonus to have a Mac menu item (and a Windows tray item) that would also give the accurate battery percentage status. This way one does not necessarily have to open the Options+ software if they just want to see the device’s battery status.

    I am using the FEEDBACK button in the Options+ beta to write this so I am hoping you receive it this time. If possible, please let me know because I have other ideas as well as the fact that I am deliberately using the beta software with the intention of reporting bugs. I want to feel confident that my efforts at corresponding with the beta team is successfully transmitting.

19. Profile Management Suggestions from a long-term user

    Hi there,
    I’ve been using Logi Options+ (and its predecessor, Logi Options) as a student, casual gamer, and junior manager since 2017. I have always appreciated the variety of options available for configuring each key on my Logitech mice over the years. The choices were impressive in 2017 and have only expanded in great ways since then.

    However, I’ve had a long-term frustration with how profiles are handled. The process of getting my mouse to behave correctly for each app can feel cumbersome. It often involves frequent menu switching and redoing previous configurations. Here are a few small changes I would suggest for profile management:

    1. Inherit Default/Global Settings: Please allow buttons within a profile to “inherit default/global settings.” If I decide on a whim to make my default side button behavior press a function key that runs a macro, I’d like to apply that change across all profiles without manually adjusting each one.
    2. Buttons vs Point and Scroll Profiles: Creating a profile under “Buttons” should also create a corresponding profile under “Point and Scroll.” Additionally, switching between the Button and Scrolling tabs should maintain focus on the matching profile. For example, setting up a new Spotify profile to use the thumbwheel for volume control currently involves creating that profile twice and then clicking back and forth b/w assigning the button and adjusting the sensitivity. This should be moot anyway if I already had a "media" profile, which is my next request:
    3. Drag-and-Drop Profile Management: It would be fantastic to create a profile and then drag apps in and out of it freely. For instance, if I want to group media apps together and set the thumbwheel for volume, the low thumb button for a gesture-based controller, and the side buttons for track seeking, I currently have to redo each setting for every app individually (Spotify, Apple Music, Apple TV, VLC, etc.). A folder system would make this process significantly more efficient.

    The exciting new features like AI buttons or presentation tools aren’t as useful to me if I can’t quickly map the laser pointer to my modeshift button for work across Zoom, Office Suite, Chrome, and Adobe, while leaving it as scroll mode or mouse sense for my favorite game.
    I love my Logitech mouse, and I’m grateful to your team for the ongoing support. I hope this feedback is helpful.
