1. make menubar icon an option users can turn off

   I want the option in Logi Options to make this useless icon never show up in my menu bar again. The only sure method I know of to remove it is to uninstall Logi Options, which I would prefer to not do.

2. Everything is broken in options+ 0.90 beta mac.

   Nothing works with update 0.90.
   No per application customization.
   Even global settings do not work any more. Both for MX Keys and MX Master 3.
   The menu applet icon is not showing. It is there but invisible and doing nothing.
   The login window from firefox can not start the options+ app.

   The old options app redirects everything to logi options+ app even after removing all traces of the latter from system.
   How can I uninstall completely the Plus app and go back to options? I do not wqant any beta any more.
   Or how can I install previous version of options+ that worked?
   Again EVERYTHING IS BROKEN - in 0.90 beta. I am in macOS big Sur connected by usb unifying conector

3. Unsupported device setup and removal

   Old mouse appearing in main view. It is unsupported in options+ so I clicked the 'use in options' button, that launched options but with a blank screen which is a bug.
   Since it's an old unused mouse, I'd like the option to remove it from view in this application.
   A nice to have, would be to have the ability to drag and order devices so that my current main devices are on the left and in view.
   Another nice to have would be to improve this feedback box. I wrote some feedback, clicked on the settings icon and came back to this and my feedback was lost.
   I should be able to continue from where I left off until it is sent or the app is closed.

4. Multiple Global functions (W customizable toggle/s to change in which Global function is the user on) and Gesture profile (or exp and imp)

   Have the ability to have more than one global setting letting the user change between global setting to not have like 15 apps profiles on the logioptions + that have the same button mapping the key or keys to change between global settings is customizable so that the users have the flexibility to do whatever they want

   The capability to import and export custom gestures instead of having the plain gesture options and the blank custom it would be nice if the user could have the capability to make a gesture profile or just import and export them that way the
   user knows what the gestures do by having a custom name and helps the user with multiple global settings by knowing what gesture the user imported to what key in the global setting

5. Logi Devices Battery is not reflected Correctly on macBook Pro

   I have MX Master 3 for Mac and
   MX Keys for Mac.
   I also use Logi Options+.
   The problem I see is that the BT menu doesn't report the right battery load of each device.
   It shows something like 100% or 50% or 20% or 5%...
   When charging it doesn't reflects in the icon.
   In general it seems there is no REAL indication on the battery status.
   I am not using any dongle. I am connecting directly to my macBook Pro 2021. Using Ventura.
   But this has the same behavior on my previous macBook Pro 2017 using BigSur.

   See screenshot that was taking while the mouse is charging and the keyboard shows 50% but 10 minutes ago it showed 5% and it was on charge for 10 minutes.

6. Switching connection issue between Bluetooth and unify USB receiver

   Connection issue:
   - I'm finding hard time switching between Bluetooth connection and a USB receiver
   - How to reproduce the scenario:
   - Connect the mouse via Bluetooth
   - Connect the unify receiver to a USB port
   - Go to Bluetooth settings and disconnect the mouse
   - Here the mouse will totally disconnected from my device, even the unify receiver is still connected
   - Trying unplug and plug the USB receiver, nothing will change
   - What expected to resolve the issue:
   - First suggestion: Give the USB receiver a priority, whenever the mouse detect the USB receiver it will connect to it with removing the device from the Bluetooth menu (This way you will give the mouse a simultaneous connection, by switching simultaneously between Bluetooth and USB receiver)
   Second suggestion: Add in the Options+ app a button to connect the mouse to a USB receiver when it's connected to Bluetooth and an option to switch it to a Bluetooth connection while the mouse connected to a USB receiver
   - As for now to switch from Bluetooth to USB receiver, I downloaded the Logitech unifying software, I go to windows settings and remove the mouse (forget device) then I go to the unifying software and remove the paired mouse with the receiver, (both are the same mouse)
   Then I turn the mouse off and remove the receiver and restart my device
   After I login to windows I connect the receiver
   Then I open the Unifying software and follow the instructions in the software to connect the mouse

   Why I need to do that: Because I work in a crowded place with way to many wireless devices, so sometimes Bluetooth connection become laggy and unstable, and connecting the mouse via USB receiver is more stable

7. App-Specific Button Actions

   It would be great to be able to choose actions for buttons from a list of recommended actions that pertain to the program I'm trying to customize the mouse to. For example, I just updated my Adobe Creative Suite and found out my MX Master 3 settings have been reset. I want to reassign the horizontal scroll button on the mouse to adjust the size of my brush in Adobe Photoshop, but when I did it the first time I had to look up it on the internet because no app-specific recommendations were given in Logi Options. So it would be great if the Logi Options+ would give me a recommended list of app-specific actions in the side menu to save me the time of having to search the internet again to remember how I did it.

8. 2 suggestions and 1 bug

   Hey,
   it would be very useful if you deal with the next 2 requests:
   1. Enable assigning backlight on feature to any top row key. I often use my pc in dim light or total darkness and it's impossible to find the fn+f5 combination to turn the backlight on. On the other hand I can easily find the Lock key (top row right).
   
   2. There's this bug that NumLock feature resets randomly after restart and I can't know in advance before typing if it's or off. This is very frustrating.
   3. A minor request. In total darkness the charging indicator blinking is rather annoying. I would appreciate if it could be disabled from the menu.

9. one point you could improve but the rest is amazing!

   Hi,
   I am very happy to be able to be a beta tester. I like the simplicity of the app and the very nice and simple colors.
   What was missing in the previous version was the possibility to bind "Ctrl" and "Alt" Keys to the extra Mousebuttons. I like that it is possible now.
   Maybe a thought of how to improve the app would be, if the system can recognize, that only one logitech product is connected and would directly go into the menu of the product. When I launched the app I sometimes wait for it to load in automatically. But actually I only had to click my Product image (MX Master3) in the middle to show me the options.

   Overall I am really happy with the new improvements!

    Das MX Keys Keyboard schaltet seit Neuestem seine Hintergrundbeleuchtung auch dann regelmäßig ein und aus, wenn niemand beim Keyboard selbst sitzt! Dies ist insofern schlecht, als dies in der Nacht stört und noch dazu regelmäßig die Akku-Ladung reduziert! Warum gibt es keine Option zu diesem teuren Keyboard, welches den User die Sensitivität des Sensors einstellen lässt, sodass die Hintergrundbeleuchtung nur dann angeht, wenn sich die Finger unmittelbar über der Tastatur selbst befinden? Sorry, aber der momentane Zustand meines Keyboards ist sozusagen untragbar durch das dauernde, unmotivierte Blinken. Bitte um einen Fix bzw. um eine Regulierungsmöglichkeit der Sensitivität! Danke! 12. Feature suggestion - Hotmenu

    Hi!

    My name is Roy, and i would like to pitch an idea to a new Logi Options + feature.

    The idea is to bind a key on your mouse or keyboard to this new feature i call "Hotmenu". The hotmenu opens a grid menu at the location of the cursor onscreen with a list of custom smart actions to execute. The idea is that you can add your own smart actions, so that it becomes kind of like an on-screen stream deck.

    This makes each programable button on mice and keyboard so much more powerful, especially on devices with few programable buttons as the Logitech POP mouse which only has one.

    I made a HTML demo of how i envision this feature to function. Bind a programable key on your mouse or keyboard to the keyboard key "K", to open the hotmenu in the demo. See HTML attachment.

13. RIGHT CLICK KEY ALLOCATION

    My last keyboard had the "right click" key with the function key, the second key from the right of the space bar... this has it with the "search" key above the numbers key pad, with is to far and anoying; plus, for pressing ones has to use 2 keys at the same time....I came to options to see if I can manually select where to put it, but I only manage to have in the same place but with one key pressing....is still to far...I use that a lot in Word, for correcting or synonims, etc.: pressing that key give me the right click options for the word....now I have to move my hand from the writing posture to click the key in the number key area.... Attached a picture where it is and where is supouse to be, where I had it before...option menu does not allow me to allocate the key where it fit me the most,

16. "Features"

    Literally not a single person on the planet wants a notification that shows up literally every time you hit caps lock - especially when it shows up randomly, and you don't know where it's coming from, and you don't even have a logitech keyboard.

    Oh and the only reason I started getting these was because I had to download this stupid app to get rid of an even more stupid button on the side of my mouse that brings up a menu of every app I have open at any given time. Really great for gaming, thank you logitech!
    I get that it's some failson's job to introduce "features" but it's a mouse - it doesn't need 15 random buttons on it that require downloading an app that adds even more stupid features to get rid of. I write this fully aware of that fact that no one cares and no one will fix this.

17. Will never buy a wireless Logitech device again

    The Logi Options+ plus app is less intuitive than trying to use an Apple device as a lifelong Android user. 1) There's no option to bind the side buttons on my mouse to a specific keystroke (outside of creating a whole Smart Action). 2) The rear, side button is completely unusable in games because when binding an in-game action to that button, (a) It binds the action to the keystroke you've selected in the Logi app instead of the actual side button, and (b) It still doesn't register that I'm clicking the side mouse button (the front side button seems to work -sometimes-). 3) If you don't want the side mouse buttons to do anything, you have to know or look for the "Do nothing" option rather than a 'disable' or 'Nothing' option at the top of the list like any normal option menu. 4) The Logi Options app REFUSES to detect my unifying receiver, and the ONLY fix I've seen suggested online is downloading even more software (Setpoint) that was not advertised before purchasing this mouse. This leads to an unstable bluetooth connection and random disconnects even during active use.

18. Get device management sorted out!

    Let me describe my user expirience:

    Nice. I got my Mouse. Plugged and playeed Now what about my Keyboard? I don't even see a pairing option in the main menu. Settings gives me dark mode +1 (srsly, this looks great) for that, but device management? Where?

    To make this a bit more constructive: Please, what we want is comfortable management of our devices. I expect that it’s going to be easier to manage multiple devices in the future. You know… I like the possibilities to customize my devices (after I can make them work), but what I want is mainly to comfortably manage my tools. I don’t get started customizing my Logitech experience, if setting **** up already annoys the **** out of me.

    Please excuse the flak. Just trying to give the straightforward user experience. I really love your hardware and if you’d sort this software thing out you’ve got yourself a lifetime customer. So please excuse me being blunt. Hope this is helpful, if you’d like more feedback

20. MX Master won't reconnect to Mac Mini M2

    My MX Master is bricked?!? Today it started playing up; all the button comands were mixed up, the normal forefinger button kept activating the right-click menu. Rebooted Mac Mini M2, problem remained. Removed device from bluetooth. Rebooted M2. Can no longer connect MX to M2. MX was also paired with my iPad, removed device and reconnected to device no problem. But can't connect to M2. This MX can connect to 3 devices. It was connected to M2 with #2, and to my iPad as #3. I have never been able to connect #1 to anything. But now my iPad will only connect to #2, which is what the M2 was connected to. On M2 the MX will show in Bluetooth nearby devices as #2 but after clicking "connect" it simply does not connect. Currently my iPad is connect to MX with #2, it cannot be connected using #1 or #3. My M2 will only see MX as #2 but, obviously, cannot connect, even if I remove MX from iPad. I have attempted to use the backup function with Logi Options+ but nothing happens. So how do I connect my MX to my M2 like I used too?
