i would like to purchase the MX 2s or 3s mouse, but will not if the Logi Options+ does not allow you to zoom with the mouse wheel. I have been using the M510 for over a decade and my favorite option has always been using the Setpoint app to simply click the middle mouse button and then scroll to zoom in and out.
I recently purchased a Logitech M705 Marathon, but it is not recognized by Setpoint. Installed Logitech Options and was stunned to find out that Zooming with the scroll wheel option is not available.
I then purchased a new M510, to replace my old M510, which was falling apart, only to find out that the newer versions of the M510 were no longer recognized by Setpoint. It will pair, but the Mouse Tab doesn't show up in Setpoint.
I had to return both the new M510 and M705 and go back to using my old M510, as it is still very reliable. It just doesn't scroll as fast or smoothly and the rubber sides are coming off.
I am getting very frustrated. I have always loved Logitech products. I just bought a new K350 keyboard to replace my old one, because Logitech no longer makes a newer version of this ergonomic wrist padded keyboard.
I would love to buy a newer Logitech mouse, but without the scroll wheel zoom function, they are useless to me.
