Note that this issue definitely does exist (I have it too), but it's not exactly as described above.
Instead what is happening is that the Logi Options+ app has a bug where the scroll direction randomly reverts to 'natural' on MacOS. This happens randomly, but frequently (for me at least 2 or 3 times in an 8hr work day).
If you open the Logi Options+ app it will still show 'Standard' as selected, but that is not the case. If you toggle the setting to 'Natural' and then back to 'Standard' again it temporarily fixes the issue.
For me I have to do this every few hours, it's extremely annoying for a work machine where I'm trying to get stuff done!
