Insert key not working
Dear Logitech Team,
I love your products including my new K650 keyboard. However I have found one very upset thing.
I use at work a lot of programs where necessary is "insert" key. The K650 have disabled this by default and i have to use it with FN key - this is very annoying and time consuming. Is there any chance to set up by default just "Insert" instead of language settings?

This is an amazing insight into the deeply flawed product development process at Logitech. A presumably small number of people who developed/drove this product had the idea to trash a widely-used single key function that has been standard for 40+ years, in favour of making it easy to change keyboard/language layouts. And they were so committed to this 'innovation' that their clunky configuration software CAN NOT RESTORE THE NORMAL FUNCTION to the insert key.
Had I realised earlier, I would definitely have return this product (K650 keyboard).
Maybe it should be marketed as a specialty 'multi-language' keyboard, for people who change languages so often that pressing alt+shift or win+space is problematic

Logitech bring back traditional insert key no need language select.

Switch back to having the Insert key the Insert and not the Language Setting key. Frustrating to use the keyboard the way it's shipped. May end up in a land fill, which is a shame....

It is just incredible that this is not a option which is configurable in Logi Options

I will also have to return this keyboard due to the inability to use the insert key for its intended purpose. I am in shock and disbelief. Could this even be real??? How could this have possibly gotten all the way to production without someone at Logitech calling foul??? I'm going to re-think, and likely replace, all my Logitech devices. I have never been so disappointed in a piece of hardware.

Very frustrating. This should be an insert key like on every other keyboard. Can't even remap it because it is a "special key". Please fix!

Please, please, please! Just add the language switch key to the list of keys that can be configured and fn-locked like literally all the others.
I like many others, user Ctrl-Insert and Shift-Insert as alternative cut / paste keys. This works in every app in Windows and in many other contexts (linux consoles, where CTRL-C has a very different meaning).
Making this key unconfigurable, makes this keyboard non-standard and cripples its use for many common tasks.
This _cannot_ be a huge ask. This is a configurable keyboard, it's brand new (to me anyway), and the software is still getting updates, so I know you have a dev team on this.
Fix it fix it fix it! Or I suppose I'll have to return it. Too bad. I like it otherwise.

Should be an easy fix yet this issue has not been address in over 2 years?

That was a terrible design decision, please return my insert functionality!

I really like everything about the K950 I recently purchased except the INS key is hijacked for a language swap key which is a non-starter for me. Hoping Logi Support will be able to help resolve this for me, otherwise will be returning keyboard.

What a braindead idea to kill frequently used Insert button with obnoxious language switch. I do use several languages that I frequently switch between using other means, but missing Insert key and dead all-so-common Ctrl/Shift+Ins combinations is totally unacceptable. Please bring Insert back!

Please solve this!!! As Marco say, make this behaviour choosable like the lock for the function keys

Fix it please. Nice keyboard but this is terrible.

Fix this. Such an incredibly dumb design decision.

This is terrible default settings. I specifically looked for keyboard with classic INSERT-DELETE block above arrows.
How can I remap it under Linux?

I would like the INS key to be used for that, not for changing the language of my keyboard. It is really annoying (I have been using computers with this keyboard shortcut for 30 years) to notice that now that I have bought the K650, the INS function is used together with another key. For programming it is too annoying, even for Excel use. Please enable the disabling through Logi Options, as you do with the F1, F2, etc. buttons. Thank you.

same problem - MOST ANOYING!!!
without a solution i will bring it back!
Why does it not apply to the FN escape switch that switches off all the other nice toys to use it seriously in business!

Same statement as all the others. It is unbelievable that you cannot customize a non-default key.
What comes next? The "Enter" key shut-down the computer? The "Space" Key toggles the mircophone?
