When you measure a light source such as a star, with a single directional arrangement, Very much like a laser,
The light should approximate an equivalent pattern,..
How so? Arguments about:
The star is large? true
The star has many random emitters? True
The star has a single source of random & a vast array of it? True
If you think about a star, & Why the light could be or might not be more cohesive..
You have to think about the area that the star light has to pass through,
Of course if the light has passed through filtering material, Like a prism or polariser..
At approximately the same time, The light will be pure & identical in a way.. If the material is the same.
We could measure the differences over the entire star, if we had a large enough magnifier!
Still comparatively, At large distances between stars, That light arrives at almost the same time.. From any part of the star!

Approximating a white laser, Over larger distances.
However, We can measure comparatively small areas of space, given the size of the star, Compared to all of the space the light passed through!
Now as they mentioned, Light is aligned, Only if it passes through the same space & the same material ^^^,
So what do we really know about that? Is it all identical? Well only if we desire, A : Single Source, B : Hail the source of the light!
Yep, Only if the material is the same, Polarizer or other identical material,
If all light is identically aligned, Nothing would appear to be between them!
But does that mean, We have found any way to subtract matter from view? We may have found ways to smudge the issue with ML..
