I want the pad of the MX 4 to be active while other buttons are clicked. When I use older MX mice, the thumb/gesture pad button could be simultaneously activated with any of the other mouse buttons. So for instance, I could left click a window to move it around, then click the gesture button to move the window onto another desktop screen very easily. I prefer the pad to be the gesture pad, so I reconfigured the pad for gestures and the top most button on my MX 4 to be the action ring. As a result, I cannot do this same simple maneuver since the pad goes limp when any other button is pressed
