My custom key assignments in Logi Options+ started not working specifically in the Comet browser. Instead, the mouse side buttons in Comet are only recognized as “Num+” and “Num-,” regardless of the keys assigned in Logi Options+. The same assignments work correctly in Brave and Chrome. This problem only started to happen recently

Symptoms:

In Logi Options+, I can add “Comet” as an application profile, but the profile’s key actions do not work in the Comet browser.

The app icon for Comet appears as a generic/unknown application icon, similar to how Options+ displays apps that are not fully recognized.

Custom key assignments for the side buttons (set in Logi Options+) are ignored in Comet, whereas they work as expected in other browsers.

Expected behavior:

Logi Options+ should detect Comet properly and apply the configured custom key assignments to the mouse side buttons.
