Please update Electron version to fix a GPU bug in macOS 26.
Hello Logi Options+ support team!
I would like to kindly ask you to update the version of Electron used internally.
The reason is that on macOS 26, Electron-based applications have an issue where they consume too much GPU.
This has been fixed in the following versions:
• v39.0.0-alpha.7
• v38.2.0
• v37.6.0
• v36.9.2
(Source: https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/48311#issuecomment-3344695272)
However, as far as I could confirm, the latest version of Electron used in Logi Options+ is 30.0.1. This version is already outside Electron’s official support, and it’s unlikely that fixes will be backported to it.
I would be very grateful if you could upgrade the Electron to v36 or higher from the list above.
This is a critical bug in Electron on macOS, causing extremely heavy performance issues, so I sincerely hope you can address it soon.
Best Regards,
Kosuke Mori
