Most Crucial TurnOffs for New Users, And User interface changes needed.
Hello. While Creative Console got a HUGE potential, and the software is decent, i will adress the elephant in the room making many people give up/quite before even properly setting it up (comming from someone that switched over from the competition) :
Making actions is much harder/slower than needed. Implementing shorcut / hotkey support for managing actions is crucial : CTRL C / V to copy paste same action and easily edit parameters, Del to remove an action, arrow /enter etc.
Implementing a separate "Action ring" / context menu containing either most actions, or the ones you can favourite that is avaible when you confiture either they Key Pad or action ring would be a 500 IQ Move.
Name displayed on console should always be the action hame. Having to open EDIT ICONS just to set a name, while it's not even that obvious is just depressing. Also single click for the curent context, opening file path / specific app etc, and double click for the Icon editting/advanced customization would be the right way to do it.
Allowing folders on the keypad too, even a single layer would be apreciated by many.
Not limiting the action ring to only have a half of it inside the folders you create for it, is completely unnnecessary. Many would apreciate the missing slots avaible. If someone actually prefers the "cleaner" look, a simple toggle between curent number and the extra slots/complete customization can be added.
There are plenty of things that can be added to further models bsides crippling functionality of curent one: More analog knob/scroll wheel, Touch surface on dial that can support gestures etc.
