Hi! I love the addition of the Action Ring, especially for my MX mouse.
A few ideas regarding the icons, possibly.
We are given default icons when the "ring" is first created; they are fantastic and look great. Here is where my issue lies.
The AI branch, for starters. The default actions direct me to a webpage for the respective AI model (except for ChatGPT); however, I have Perplexity downloaded as an application on my computer and prefer not to use my browser instead of the app. With the Action Ring, I can add an action that opens Perplexity's application; however, I am unable to retrieve the original icon (that inverts color when hovered over and looks way cooler than a normal PNG) for Perplexity. This is also true for many other tools, such as ChatGPT and Copilot. I would like there to be some way to find and use those app-specific icons again.
Furthermore, there is an icon pack for Spotify that features many Spotify-styled icons for shuffle, skip, etc., but not for the Spotify logo itself. So when I go to create a folder for Spotify-related actions, the Spotify icon looks dumb and the others look sweet.
These ideas are definitely not vital and are probably overlooked by mostly everyone, but when there are icon packs that all look awesome and I have to make the decision of putting a shortcut because it'd be handy or not because it doesn't match any of the others, it is like a mini-battle between the opposing sides of my brain.
And finally, is it possible to get Web-Based apps onto the Action Ring? Apps like Netflix, Paramount+, and others are web-based and downloaded through the Microsoft Store, but I cannot seem to find out how to add them to the Action Ring (unless of course doing it through a web browser). Of course, I am not knowledgeable about how this all works, but it would be cool if those could be added as well.
