Idea for Improving Logi Options+ and Flow Functionality
Dear Logitech Team,
I have been a loyal user of Logitech products for over 20 years, and I truly appreciate the quality and reliability of your mice and keyboards. They are simply the best!
I am writing to share an idea for improving the Logi Options+ software, specifically the Flow feature, to enhance its functionality in certain use cases.
Currently, Flow requires all computers to be on the same local network to enable seamless switching by moving the cursor to the edge of the screen. However, when a local network is unavailable, I must switch each device (keyboard and mouse) manually using their physical switches.
I would like to propose two potential solutions for a scenario where computers are not on the same network:
Cursor-Edge Trigger for Channel Switching:
Could the cursor moving to the edge of the screen trigger the keyboard and mouse to switch to another Bluetooth/USB channel connected to another computer, even without a local network?
Unified Hardware Switch Synchronization:
Alternatively, could the keyboard's channel switch also automatically change the mouse's channel? For example, if I switch the keyboard from Channel 1 to Channel 2, the mouse could follow suit without requiring a separate manual switch.
I believe these improvements would be very useful for users who work with multiple computers not connected to the same network.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I would be happy to know if this idea interests you.
Sincerely,
Eugene
