Fix your software
I have LogiTune & LogiOptions on my MacBook Air. One of those two applications filled up my hard drive with 5000+ log files, totaling over 120 GB of storage. Apple tech support helped me figure out the Logitech software was the culprit. We deleted the useless Logitech log files to fix the problem.
