Before the firmware update the backlighting stayed OFF when switched off via the keys, but could be re-activated with the keys at any time.
Now the backlighting comes on fully every time the computer wakes from sleep.

Having to switch this off 20 times a day is so tiresome that I had to disable backlighting altogether, making one of the most important features irrelevant - which is a SHAME given it worked perfectly before.

Bring back the old behavior!
