Clipboard crash when using Logitech Flow with disconnected source device
Clipboard crash when using Logitech Flow with disconnected source device
Environment:
Logitech Flow Version:1.84.641293
Operating System 1 (Source Device): windows 11 (laptop)
Operating System 2 (Target Device): Windows 11 (desktop)
Mouse Model: Logitech MX Master 3s
Steps to Reproduce:
Use Logitech Flow to transfer clipboard data (e.g., a high-resolution image) from Device A to Device B.
Allow Device A to enter sleep mode or disconnect it from the network after copying the data.
On Device B, attempt to paste the clipboard data (e.g., Ctrl + V in an application like Word, Obsidian, or browser).
Observe the crash in the application on Device B.
Applications on Device B (e.g., Word, Obsidian, browsers) crash when attempting to paste the clipboard data, likely due to a broken link to the clipboard on the now-disconnected Device A.
Additional Information:
Turning Device A back on resolves the issue. The paste operation completes successfully after the connection to the clipboard is re-established.
