The application causes a 'mic with an 'x' to its right' icon to pop up in the top menu bar of my computer. This is on Sequoia 15.0.1 and application version 1.83.635658. I have the muted/unmuted notification option turned off and I don't see any other options to affect it. The only way to get it to go away is by disabling Options+ in the 'allow in background' section of login items. The icon there is inconsistent with the rest of MacOS design language, making it look out of place, unnecessary, and while I'm not completely sure, I don't think it's actually accurate, either. Please add an option to disable it.
