accessibility issues for screen reader users
Dear Logi Options+ Development Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on the accessibility features of the Logi Options+ Windows app. As a screen reader user, I have encountered several issues that I believe could be improved to enhance the user experience for individuals with visual impairments.
1. Missing Button Labels:
On the main page of the app, there are several buttons that do not have any labels. As a result, screen readers only announce them as "button," which makes it challenging to understand their function or purpose.
2. Inadequate Heading Labels:
The settings section of the app lacks proper heading labels. This absence makes it difficult to navigate through different settings using a screen reader, as users are unable to quickly identify or jump to different sections.
3. Installation Issues:
During the installation process, I encountered difficulties when trying to click on the "I agree" and "install" buttons. The buttons were not easily accessible or identifiable, making it challenging to proceed with the installation.
4. Overall UI Accessibility:
The user interface of the app is quite difficult to understand at first glance when using a screen reader. I had to employ several workarounds to use the app effectively. A more accessible UI design would significantly improve the usability of the app for screen reader users.
I appreciate your attention to these issues and would be grateful if you could consider these suggestions for future updates. Enhancing accessibility will not only benefit users with visual impairments but also contribute to a more inclusive user experience overall.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
