MX Keys for Developers?
I recently purchased an MX Keys for Business keyboard. And it's mostly great, but it could be a lot better. Specifically for my business which is software development. If you created an alternative MX Keys with the following features, it would be close to perfect (in my opinion):
Function keys with the F-number as the main symbol. I don't care about media keys and other functionality I use once a year. I use the function keys continuously throughout the day.
Give us physical gaps before F1, between F4 F5, between F8 F9, and after F12. Merging them all together makes locating the right one slower. (It's almost as if the original designers of the PC keyboard knew what they were doing.)
Give us back the Prt Scrn, Scroll Lock, and Break/Pause keys in their proper place. (Put the input switchers behind the fn key on these if you need to.)
Stop blinking the power LED when charging. (Make it change from red to green as the battery charges if you want. Just stop it blinking.)
Give us an option to keep the backlight on permanently. Or at the very least make it possible to control the timeout period.
I want to buy more of these keyboards, but the above "issues" are making me hold off.
