I just bought a new Ergo Trackball mouse to replace the 6-year-old one that had the outer 'skin' start peeling off.
That one was working fine otherwise.
To swap them, I put in the new USB bluetooth receiver and paired the new Ergo with my Mac, except this time the mouse arrow skips and jumps all over the screen so frequently that I can't use it. It's very frustrating; I've tried resetting all the settings back to default, I've removed the device and re-synced it, and I've swapped the USB receiver back to the old one. None of those have permanently solved it. I've even reset the Mac's bluetooth settings (in the Terminal), still nothing. If I turn off the mouse and back on, it works for a bit, then starts to skip again. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Bill.
