I never get any notifications that batteries on my keyboards or trackballs are getting low until the device itself makes it obvious - I'd like to know further in advance as sometimes I have to grab them and go mobile in a hurry.

Another issue for years is that my MX Keys "lock" button set to "Nothing" never works (it seems to me it never works the first time it's pressed - it may be fine after that, and has definitely been fine when I've tested after that). It's very annoying to have an "app" with these things set, yet the settings aren't always respected.
