I had a problem reconnecting MX Master 2S to unifying receiver... I called up old Logi Options and IIRC it took me somewhere online (where it failed to connect). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T DO THIS SORT OF THING. What happens if I can't get online for some reason? Such functionality should always be available locally.

As to why I did that... I had switched to Bluetooth because the USB unifying receiver kept "failing" - I suspect some MS update at work! But THEN I found that audio over my Jabra earbuds was absolutely horrible. But, once I reverted to unifying (after re-running unifying252.exe) and removed the MX 2S as a BT device, the audio was fine again.

You have made something very very important to being able to do anything on a PC incredibly complicated and fragile.

I'd really like you to go back to basics. KISS.

And yes, I have to have logibolt AND something else because the k650 came with logibolt, but everything is just too tangled up now. Please simplify.
