Logi Options+ Update is a CPU hog
My Windows 11 computer updated Logi Options+ today. Now, "Logi Options+," "Logi Options+ Updater," and "Logi Options+ Agent" tasks are using significant CPU time.
I have the Task Manager sorted by CPU. In the past, these tasks rarely were in the top 15 or so tasks, but now, they are constantly near the top, keeping overall CPU usage, even when I'm doing nothing, over 5% (which is the point where my computer's fan starts running).
What is causing these tasks to suddenly be doing much more activity with this upgrade to 1.46.425296? Can this be fixed? ...thanks!

Yes this is driving me nuts. My surface pro 7 is losing significant battery from this, and I will have to stop using this garbage software pretty soon. Logitech options was fine, it did what it needed to do for my Mx Master.
This is an overdesigned nightmare, and makes me unlikely to buy future logitech products after my MX Master 3s (though the HW is great).

I downloaded the oldest I could find from here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/4418699283607
Version 1.42.411539
Now, even though internally it updates to 1.56 it no longer has the constant CPU usage problem.

Hello everyone! I am having the same Issue. Logi options Agent and Updater constantly use between 1 and 5 % of my CPU time regarding to windows task manager. And this problem is also present if my new and really expensive MX Master mouse is not even connected. I find it very annoying that such a beautiful and useful hardware experience is overshadowed by very poor software experience. Please fix this! It is october and the bug was reported like ages ago! If you need more info on my system configuration:
Lenovo Thinpad P14s, Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U
Win 11 22621.2428
Logi Options+ Version 1.54.466136I fact, the battery life of my thinkpad used to be very good. Having the logi options installed it turned quite bad. I will uninstall the software for now...
