When I am working at night, and the static backlighting turns off automatically, then I cannot see the keyboard. I thought that when I selected for static lighting to be on and for the battery saver to be off that that would make sure that my keyboard stayed on for me to see it. I don't know how I am supposed to see my keys at night when I am working if the backlighting turns off after I am done typing.
