Firmware Update Tool won't recognize MX for Mac devices
I recently got a MX Mechanical Mini for Mac and MX Master 3S for Mac- great devices, I have enjoyed using them so far, but...
I have tried connecting them to 1) a MacBook Air running macOS 13.0.1, 2) a MacBook Pro running macOS 12.6.1, and 3) a Windows laptop Running Windows 10 22H2 via both Bluetooth and Bolt on all 3 computers. They connect and work fine in all 6 combinations, but in Logi Options+ when I try to run a firmware update, Logitech Firmware Update Tool never seems to detect the keyboard or the mouse (see the attached screenshot)
Does the firmware update tool not support these models right now? If not, why present the option to run updates on these devices? It should have some sort of message like "This device is not supported at this time" instead. If the firmware tool did recognize my devices, but didn't find any updates available, why does it stay on a loading spinner with the message "Please connect a supported device or receiver to update" instead of telling me my devices are already up to date?
I hope to see a Logi Options+ update soon to address this. Thank you
