I need the digits illumination to remain max brightness all the time. I do a lot of typing on technical subjects and find it frustrating that the illumination turns off so quickly. I have a background in electronics and ask if it possible to open the case and jumper a link to apply permanent power to the LED lighting? Otherwise the white illumination is perfect for my purposes if it would remain lit up max brightness permanently (I run it on a independent 5V power supply so battery life is not an issue) . Note Illumination is the single reason I paid so much for this keyboard. I do not need any of the other lighting features.
