I recently got an MX Master 3. I am using it on an older Macbook pro. I customized it using Options, but sometimes would reset to factory settings, so I tried Options+, but still sometimes when I start using my mouse, the buttons have been reset. So I try to open Options+, but it doesn't work. The start up animation just spins, see attached. I have to restart my computer for Options+ to open and my mouse to have the correct mapping.

Do you have any suggestions? Otherwise this very expensive mouse is virtually useless, if not worse because I'm wasting my time trying to fix it.
