I love this program and I think the features are incredible and plentiful, but there's a massive issue with the reliance on it for my mouse to work (My MXMaster3 is my only piece of hardware with this program).

Sometimes when I start up my computer, I find that the custom settings I set up on the mouse aren't responding, and in worse cases, I can't even use the scroll wheel to scroll. So I just open up Logi Options+ and the problem is solved. That's my first problem. I shouldn't have to open the program to fix the issue when sometimes I don't have to. It tells me that the program doesn't need to be open for the mouse to work, so I should never have to touch it unless I want to change a setting or add more devices. But all that being said, first world problem. I have to click an extra thing to open my custom mouse settings, big deal right? If it weren't for my second issue, I wouldn't be writing this, and I'd suck up the extremely minor inconvenience of opening the program up to fix my issue.

My second problem is, half the time, the program will NEVER open. I am stuck for what feels like ever on the loading screen. I shut it down and restart it, and it rarely fixes the issue. Sometimes, I have to shut down my computer after many attempts rebooting the software, and reboot the computer, which sometimes works. Once, I even had to delete and re-download the software because nothing else worked.

Look, I get it. Making software is hard, we're still in Beta, and you want to incorporate tons of new features and that's wonderful, I can't wait to see what's next. But, I don't care about all the new features this software comes out with if it doesn't open for me to see them in the first place, or let my mouse even use them without trying to open it.
