It would be very beneficial for CAD users to be able to program the side/thumb buttons as "ctrl" and "shift" keystrokes alone like what is available to be done in Logitech's SetPoint Settings software. Logitech Support has informed me this in not currently available with software packages for the MX 3 mouse.
