I have the problem with the latest version of Options and this beta version of Options+ using Windows 11. The current version of Options works fine under Windows 10.

I change the two side buttons to copy and paste under the global applications settings. These settings are not recognized by any application. I have to add each specific application to make the button reassignments work.
