It's the middle of July 2025 (over 2yrs since this request was posted). and this remains still relevant as ever. Especially for those who use Chromebooks for business purposes. Button Mapping has been added since, but still no support for MX Master 3s horizontal scrolling for the button on top (under the scroll wheel).
