I just bought the MX Keys S (01/21/2023) and have the same issue with the calculator key. It does not open with focus.

Set the Thumb Wheel to inverted in the settings.

You can just use the advanced click option. Set it to Double Click.

You can apply many advanced options in the settings. See attached image.

This is a great idea! When using creative software which requires significant use of the mouse, it would be great to program the Function button on the MX Keys S keyboard to a button on the MX Mater 3S mouse. This would allow use of all the top row Function/Programmable buttons without having to take your hand off the mouse.
