1. Disable AI Features

   I would like to disable the AI features. I have other ways of using AI apps on my Mac, it’s not a feature I want from my mouse or keyboard.

   I'd like to prevent the Prompt Builder process from loading and delete the "aioverlaytmp" without it reappearing.

   Major changes like this should be opt-in features, not automatic.

2. Easy switch both mouse and keyboard with one switch

   we need to be able to switch both the mouse and keyboard with just the easy switch buttons on the keyboard.

   so with one button on the keyboard both the mouse and keyboard would switch to the next device

3. One button to switch both devices

   I think this is a well documented issue/potential for improvement.

   Instead of having to press the switch button on each device individually there should be an option on either the keyboard or mouse to switch both together.

   Many of us use work system where we cannot install software, so this feature would really help.

5. Remove AI or provide AI free version

   Please remove the AI features or release an AI free version. I enjoy using my Logitech gear at work. My company has very strict guidelines around what AI tools we can use. Having AI built into Logi Options+ could get it placed on my companies software black list.

6. AI-stuff

   Please stop with the "AI Prompt Builder". It crashes regularly. Why would i even need AI stuff on a software whose only function is to change the scrolling speed of my mouse.
   Nobody asked for this.

7. REMOVE AI - Bloatware complaint

   All I want from this app is the ability to map mouse buttons to functions on my computer. I don't want AI bloatware with this software, especially when new directories pop up in my home directory. Please keep it simple!

8. Smooth scrolling is completely broken - and I found the root cause why

   TLDR: Logitech free spin wheel mice support excellent high precision scrolling, but the software/drivers disable this most of the time for no good reason. Only when certain web browser windows are focused and the smooth scrolling option is on does it work properly. Focus a Chrome or Edge window with the smooth scrolling option in Logi options enabled and then scroll over a Settings, Word, etc. window to see how much better it could be.

   Smooth scrolling is completely broken - I have noticed that, when in free spin mode, scrolling is usually no where near as smooth and precise as it could be, even with the smooth scrolling option enabled.

   As a Windows developer, I decided to investigate this. It seems, if an Edge or Chrome window is currently focused - scrolling is way more precise and smooth - even in other windows. As soon as a window that isn't owned by Chrome or Edge receives focus, however, the scrolling experiences is poor again.

   I investigated and found the root cause - Logitech's code is only sending delta values of -12, 0 and 12 in mouse wheel messages if the window that is currently focused is not a Chrome or Edge (or possibly other web browser) window. This results in a jumpy and imprecise scrolling experience that is not appropriate for a high end free spin mouse wheel. Seems like this might be a compatibility feature or something? Which is strange considering touchpads and other free spin wheel devices don't behave this way - they just send correct delta values as expected and most apps these days support precision scrolling - plus you can always just disable free spin mode on the mouse.

   Logi options/the mouse drivers should be updated ASAP to get rid of this poor behaviour, unless the app under the pointed opts-out of precision scrolling in the app's manifest (highResolutionScrollingAware, ultraHighResolutionScrollingAware), or is in a list of exclusions managed by the user. I am not sure how you expect to compete against other high end mice with this poor behaviour. I used to use a Microsoft mouse with a free spin wheel years ago and it was way better because it always sent the correct delta values except in the situations described above.

   To try this yourself, focus a Chrome or Edge window with the smooth scrolling option in Logi options enabled and then scroll over a Settings, Word, etc. window to see how much better it is compared to when the Chrome or Edge window is not focused.

   It seems I can't attach multiple files here, but see the attached screenshot - I used a free app I found on the MS Store to check the output delta values - as you can see the values are either -12, 0 or 12. If I could upload another screenshot, I'd show one of when a Chrome window is focused, where there are all kinds of values being sent, resulting in far more precise and smooth scrolling. Please at least add an option to enable precision/smooth scrolling not just when a Chrome or Edge window is focused - it is so disappointing how much better scrolling can be but that it is terrible most of the time because of this. I often find myself focusing a Chrome or Edge window when using Word to scroll long documents just because of how much better it makes the scrolling - it should be like this all the time, not just when a Chrome or Edge window is focused.

9. Backup Setttings Idea

   this is related to mouse settings backups. i am using the mx master 3 mouse.

   so as a bluetooth software developer, i replace my pc bt driver often enough to notice that when i replace my driver. i then connect the Logi mx mouse via your unifying dongle. when i put back my original bluetooth dongle back serval hours later.

   i lose my settings on the mouse. then when i go to restore my back ups on my pc. it has back up settings related to when i was using the unifying dongle. ( which are like defaults it seems)
   at this point have lost my good back up from lets say a day ago or so.

   new idea:
   maybe provide more than 1 backup so i can select one from when my settings were not screwed up. ( this would be something like a back up from 1 or 2 days ago).

10. Don't use the dedicated GPU on Intel Macbooks

    logioptionsplus_agent is switching on my dedicated GPU on my laptop which leads to much more battery consumption. This makes it unusable for me.

11. Option+ Agent (1.83) high CPU usage

    Hello, Logi Option_ Agent with 1.83 Option+ version is running with high (30-40%) CPU usage (fan is running with high ratio) on Windows 10 22H2. Process restart/Option+ restart is not solving the issue. Kindly please fix it.

13. Sync Input Switching for MX Keys Mini & Master 3S with Flexible Press Options

    I use the Logitech MX Keys Mini and Master 3S with three different devices (VR, Mac, and PC), and currently, to switch input between them, I need to press the switch button separately on both the keyboard and the mouse.

    It would be incredibly useful to have a feature that syncs the input switching between the keyboard and the mouse. This way, pressing the button on the keyboard alone would automatically switch both the keyboard and the mouse to the selected device.

    Additionally, it would enhance functionality if there were options for both long and short presses on the switch button. For example, a short press could switch only the keyboard, while a long press could switch both the keyboard and the mouse simultaneously. This would provide more flexibility depending on the user’s needs.

    This feature would improve efficiency and usability for users with multi-device setups.

14. MX Keyboard also controls MX mouse device switching

    I have an MX mouse and MX keyboard and swap devices all the time. Swapping on the keyboard is very quick and easy, but having to turn over the mouse and press a tiny little button is very frustrating. If there was an option for the MX mouse to swap device along with the keyboard this would make a huge impact on my work flow. Just an option to switch on in settings so that the keyboard also controls device switching for the mouse.

15. Improve the computer switching capacity

    I am using my MX Master 2S mouse on Mac and MS-Windows running machines. I believe the ability to switch between computers using an easily accessible button (not a button placed at the bottom side) is superior to the solution provided by the "Logi+ Flow" in many ways.

    • The network dependency for switching will be eliminated.
    • The original mouse pointer positions will be preserved on desktops.
    • The lag of switching will be eliminated.
    • The potential problems arising from Logi+ software will be eliminated.
    • Most importantly, the ergonomics, which appears to be the key selling point for Logitech products, will be improved drammatically.

    Please add the capacity to switch to the programmable buttons so that users can be freed of the inconvenience of flipping over the mouse to switch between computers.

    How difficult is it to add a battery level indicator to the system tray or at least in Logi Options+? It is ridiculous that online forums show users have been suggesting this "feature" for years but Logitech still has not implemented the idea. Utterly ridiculous...

17. Do not create ai_overlay_tmp folder at the root of user directory

    Do not create aioverlaytmp folder at root of user directory (e.g., /Users/xxxx/aioverlaytmp) in macOS.

    If you must create one, either:
    1. Make it invisible in Finder by renaming the aioverlaytmp to .aioverlaytmp
    2. Move it somewhere more appropriate, /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/LogiOptionsPlus

19. Sauvegarde inutile car automatiquement perdue en cas de problème du logiciel

    Il y a un réel problème avec la sauvegarde automatique de la configuration de la souris. Celle-ci étant activé par défaut, lorsque l'application plante, et qu'elle ne trouve pas la configuration, l'application démarre avec la configuration par défaut ET sauvegarde celle ci en quelques secondes sur le cloud, écrasant ainsi tous les paramètres précédements sauvegarder.

    Résultat: La fonction de sauvegarde ne sert à rien.

    Pouvez-vous proposer une amélioration pour ne pas écraser automatiquement une sauvegarde manuelle svp ?

20. Retroiluminación permanente [MX MECHANICAL - MX KEYS]

    Tengo una inquietud desde el MX KEY, el tiempo que pasa antes de la retroiluminación se apague automaticamente es demasiado corta, estamos hablando de apenas 5 segundos, lo que termina siendo demasiado incomodo al trabajar por la noche, siempre tengo que rozar el teclado antes de querer usarlo de nuevo, porque en tareas como la mía, animación 3D, presionar una mala tecla puede hacer algo que me crasheo el programa y quieras o no, ese pequeño roce del teclado te quita 2 segundos, y si lo tienes que hacer cada 5 segundos al final pierdes minutos enteros solo intentando prender la iluminación, seria genial que haya una opción para mantener iluminado el teclado indefinidamente o por lo menos poder alargar el tiempo, se que esto puede afectar la autonomía del producto pero por lo menos yo es algo que estoy dispuesto a sacrificar, cargar el teclado una vez por semana en vez de cada 2
