Options+ not functioning on Windows - October 28, 2025
I will be submitting a report every single day until the following issue and any issues related, are corrected.
As I am sure all of Logitech is aware at this point, the Options+ desktop app has not been functioning well for the past few months. I mean, it's been terrible for years, but whatever manager pushed for this update release before it was ready should be fired and given zero severance (do companies even do that anymore?)
The Options+ app on W10/W11 desktop, as of the most recent update, does not launch. One must open Task Manager and then close all Logi Options+ tasks EXCEPT the Updater, then wait, then relaunch the Options+ app for the app to even work, and therefore the custom functions we paid $100+ to get when buying an MX Master series mouse.
This is unacceptable. I don't have a coding background, but for this function of the Options+ app to have operated correctly for years and then just...not after one single update, screams incompetence and mis-mangement of personnel and app priorities. Logitech management, and unfortunately therefore the devs, are focused on shoehorning in the most useless form of artificial intelligence just because every other company is doing it.
Here's a revelation: if all your friend's decided to jump off a bridge, would you follow them? Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
To Logitech management and its "leadership" (using that term extremely loosely right now), maybe prioritize our BS AI bloatware after your app functions correctly. Your priorities are trash and not only does your company seem incompetent, so does your board of directors, your c-suite members, and your managers who see all of these posts about this issue and do nothing.
Fix it or fail.
