Dear Logitech team,

I’ve been a regular user of Logi Options+ and truly appreciate the features that enhance the usability of my Logitech devices. However, I’ve encountered a recurring issue that has been quite frustrating:

Every time the software updates, all of my custom settings are completely reset.

This includes button customizations, gesture configurations (such as with the MX Master series), and application-specific profiles. Having to manually reconfigure everything after each update is very time-consuming and negatively impacts the user experience.

I’d like to kindly suggest the following improvements:

Implement automatic backup and restore of user settings during updates.

Or preserve the configuration files across updates so that settings are not lost.
