Feature suggestion
Hello Logitech team,
I’m a user of the MX Keys Mini and the MX Master 3S, and I’d like to suggest an improvement that would greatly enhance the usability and ergonomics of these otherwise excellent devices.
The keyboard features dedicated Easy-Switch buttons, making switching between paired devices incredibly convenient. However, the MX Master 3S mouse only has a single physical button on the bottom for changing channels, requiring the user to lift the mouse off the desk and repeatedly press the button to cycle through devices.
While this system works, it quickly becomes cumbersome and inefficient, especially when switching frequently throughout the day. Even worse, since the mouse uses a single cyclic button, if I switch from channel 1 to channel 2 and later want to go back to channel 1, I have to press the same button two more times, passing through channel 3 — which feels unnecessarily awkward.
With that in mind, here are two suggestions that I believe would significantly improve the experience and make the use of these devices even more enjoyable:
For the first suggestion, you could add an optional feature in Logi Options+ that allows the user to synchronize the mouse's channel with the keyboard’s Easy-Switch button, similar to what already happens with the Flow feature. This could be a simple toggle in the software settings. That way, switching devices on the keyboard could automatically switch the mouse to the same channel — hands-free and seamless.
Configure one of the mouse’s top or side buttons for channel switching, avoiding the need to access the bottom button entirely.
I’m confident that many users who rely on Logitech MX devices to manage multiple computers daily would welcome these changes, which would significantly enhance the usability and ergonomics of these otherwise excellent devices.
Thank you for your continued commitment to quality and innovation. Your dedication to improving user experience is truly commendable!
Best regards,
