Login requirement for Options+ and Work PCs
Logi Options+ used to not require me to be logged in to utilize my Smart Actions. When it did, that was fine. I do not mind logging in. However, I have run into an issue where I have been logged out, and when I try to log back in and it opens a browser tab to log me in, that browser tab neither automatically launches Logi Options+, nor does the "LAUNCH APPLICATION" button do anything. Because of this, I am unable to login on my Logi Options+ software, and many functions I use for work in Smart Actions are disabled.
I understand wanting to put some features behind a login requirement, and I am happy to login. But if the login functionality is going to have bugs, this creates a frustrating problem for me. I reached out to support and verified that I am on a work computer, and Logi Options+ was approved and installed by my org's IT department. My best guess is some admin settings or the VPN may be the culprit of the issue here, because this is a work computer. The offered solution was to uninstall/reinstall the software, which, again, because this is a work computer will require an IT service ticket and more time to solve. The reason I bring this feedback up is because I am a big fan of Logi products and have purchased many of them for work and personal use. For me, I use Smart Actions specifically for work, which is on the system that has the VPN/admin settings that likely cause the problem, but also likely cause it to be harder to solve. (In other words, this would likely be an easily solvable problem on my personal PC, no IT ticket required, but I also don't need to use Smart Actions on my personal PC in the first place, since those are a work function for me.)
All that to say: Please improve the login functionality on Logi Options+ with special consideration for how work PCs may interact with such functionality OR remove the login requirement on Smart Actions. I am happy to login, but the value of your products is severely diminished by the login requirement when coupled with the current login functionality.
