Why o why do you think it's a good idea for my keyboard's software to include, without prompting a persistent UI element on my screen with a 'Muted' indicator. It would make sense if I used a Logitech webcam, but I don't.
Maybe if you introduced this feature and I opted in(and I did not) it would make sense. There was not any indication it was Logitech related.
