MX Keys Mini Minimalist and MX Mechanical Mini design feedback
Hello,
Could you add the Contrast illumination from the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard to this MX Keys Mini Minimalist keyboard? That would be awesome, thanks.
And this next idea would probably take a redesign, but the light bleed under the keys when looking at them from an angle is distracting (maybe 45 degrees, which is similar to sitting at a desk with the keyboard in front of you). This sort of light bleed isn't present in the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard though I understand those are completely different key caps and switches. Still I do believe the light bleed can be reduced.
And speaking of the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard, I had to return that keyboard because for the price the key presses felt far too much like cheap plastic. I put the your keycaps on my Royal Kludge N80 and they felt great, like premium quality, so I'm thinking it is the switches that make it feel plastic. BUT the MX Mechanical switches are soldered and can't be swapped out. So I would suggest getting the Brown switches from the RK N80 (the best feeling tactile switches I've come across), or redesign and allow hot swapping of the switches.
Thank you for your time.
P.S. The biggest reason I like these two MX keyboards is because of the proximity sensor for the back lighting. It's such a great useful idea. Would be great to see it on more of your keyboards, and I wish more manufacturers would implement the idea (I've only seen one other).
