I just purchased the Lift mouse after years of using the M570 Trackball and recently the MX Keys for Mac. I had no problems in setting up the last two. I found, that I needed to use the "Logi Bolt", that comes with the Lift, and could NOT add it to the Unifying Software USB Plugin!!! As a consumer, I NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN, THAT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, between the Logi BOLT and the UNIFYING SOFTWARE PLUGIN!!! Logitech should make it clear, that there is a DIFFERENCE, between the TWO DIFFERENT USB Plugins!!! Tech Support had to help me to connect the Lift via Bluetooth to my Mac, so I only need to use ONE USB plugin and port!!! PLEASE make it clear on your website, that there is a DIFFERENCE between the TWO PLUGINS!!!!
