Unfortunately Option+ supports smooth hi-res wheel scrolling with MX mice for 4 browser apps only: Edge, Chrome, Firefox, IE (joking?). Thousands of other apps (incl. Acrobat Reader, graphics/imaging) are forced into compatibilty mode with stepwise scrolling by logioptionsplus_agent.exe. There are patches around (Stackoverflow, GitHub) which overcome this unacceptable restriction.
Why can Logitech not implement this in Options+ i.e. by letting the user select/define the Windows apps for which smart hi-res scrolling shall be enabled?
