Mouse Feature / Ergonomics/ Remote workers edition
I started using the MX ERGO due to my bad ergonomics and pain back in August. I found that the experience is a savior for the pain I was experiencing, but it may be much smoother if the M705 "mode shift" was featured simultaneously with the "switch bluetooth devices" button that MX ERGO has. The fast scroll feature is vital in the work that I do. I purchased the set that comes with the M705 mouse and K350 keyboard after trying a lot of other options and this stuck for the last almost 2 years. As time passed the standard mouse style became a pain to my shoulder elbow and wrist. I own a third mouse I have kept and used since its ambidextrous, the silent touch M220. It's also a favorite, but I use it for personal time, not work. These are the only mouses and brand I've favored over my years of shopping around. I tried off brands that really sucked, and I've been a remote designer for almost 3 years now. Right now my setup is using both the MX ERGO with my M705 side by side, since they both have vital features but separately. Also I need the M705 often since the MX ERGO's left and right clicker doesn't always click normally, but I think this one is just defective. I will be replacing it by next week i think. I will buy a new one from the website again.
On a completely different topic, I love the MX ERGO design, but i find it hard to arrange comfortably next to any laptop or keyboard that i have. As medium sized female, it makes my arms turn in an outward position. I imagine it would be revolutionary and innovative to design a special "ERGO" keyboard that has a build in MX ERGO mouse as a single keyboard unit so that it can be perfectly aligned within an ergonomically sound design. I am sure you will take an innovative approach. I will be looking out, praying that this comes true!
Thanks for your time,
