Use better quality switches in the MX Vertical mouse. I had to retire mine after 4 years of use and found the double-click problem is solvable by replacing these switches with better ones. But I wasn't up for that much DUI and bought another make of vertical mouse, a Delux large which fills my hand better and is more vertical. It's corded but I can live with it. I also prefer the thumb buttons to yours. If you want my business again, make a model like it.
