MX Keys: Option to disable room brightness sensor
About my beloved MX Keys Keyboard: I just discovered the light sensing "feature" on my keyboard. I'd love an option in Logi Options to turn this off!
I believe the implementation has a serious flaw: I recently installed a small desk lamp on the right side of my desk and now the backlight NEVER activates. If the lamp is on, the keyboard always considers the room to be "too bright", even if the lamp isn't even illuminating all of the keyboard. My eyes suffer from presbyopia, so the backlight is a significant help to identify small-labeled keys such as the function-keys, even with my desk lamp turned on. I'm certain that othe vision-handicapped people would also love to have backlighting that is a little less stubborn to engage. It would seem to me that this feature was designed by a 25-year old and approved by a 30-year old. Please include more people over 50 in your design team.
Thus, an option to turn this feature off, or at least adjust it's sensitivity, would be greatly appreciated.
