This app should update in a very light manner. Considering its use base is everyone with several types of Logitech peripherials, it means a lot of slow PCs or ones that rarely reboot or rarely connect to check for updates. Forcing EVERYONE to suffer multiple layers of app updates (for example 1.48 > 1.6 is not a 1 step upgrade) means everyone needs to reboot to reinstall the new version, and with a several tiered upgrade that would mean several restarts to get your mouse working the way you need. And after 3 reboots in my case, I got the killer new feature - Smart Actions, where I can make it tell a Mouse Joke! And this comes instead of developing a smooth single stage upgrade for all previous versions. Software by Logitech is a joke, too bad all their hardware is top notch.
