I would love if the MX series and logi-options could have something similar to the gaming device's g-shift. The idea being that I can add a modifier key (or keys) and when I press one of them, the actions I have programmed for particular buttons change. It could be a keyboard or a mouse button. I find it very useful when I use my gaming mouse as a productivity mouse. I am trying out the MX master and I really like it in a lot of ways, but I also find it lacking in others. I miss the gshift, having 4 or more side buttons, and having a tiltable scrollwheel. The magshift wheel is very smooth, but I miss the tilt. I don't mind the side scrollwheel, but I feel like it's just not the same. I'd rather program it to do other things like shift tabs than waste it on sidescroll.
