I want to be able to use the thumb scroll for vertical scroll but there is no option for some reason. I have seen a lot of people with the same problem online going back at least two years which is very surprising for a mouse which is by no means cheap.

People have been coming up with different methods, each with their own flaws but it seems to me this could very quickly be fixed by simply adding it as an option in the app.

So, please, enlighten me as to why this is not possible as I've seen logitech employees engaging with people with this problem and saying it will be reported but evidently there has been no change despite years of complaints.

(As a matter of fact there are five other people on the next page of this feedback textbox with the exact same problem even on newer mice!)
