I would like to use the wheel mode shift button for gestures. However, I want one of the gestures (namely the normal click) to be the wheel mode shift functionality! I asked for this years ago and am disappointed to see that this is also not implemented in the new software. Now I need to leave the button just for that functionality, when it would have been nice to add additional functionality to the button when moving the mouse for gestures. Disappointed!
